The Proposal

This is obviously not your conventional marriage proposal.

We had already set a date and were already deep within the planning stages.

Jonathan had worked very hard for my beautiful ring.

I had found the beautiful ring and tried it on several times.

But we both decided we wanted the magic.

Previous proposal plans had fallen through.

It finally happened on May 17th, a very warm day.

A picnic of subway, beef jerky, capri suns, and twizzlers.

I knew it was the proposal, he knew that I knew it was the proposal.

Somehow he pulled it off anyway and it was wonderful.

He asked if I would marry him and I said yes.

So here we are, so happy together and getting married.
